Two sisters. One shared love for fashion.
Anne & Mae started as a simple idea between two sisters: why is it so hard to find clothes that actually feel like you? Beautiful, well-made pieces that work for real life — for dinner dates and school drop-offs, for board rooms and Saturday markets. We wanted fashion that meets you where you are.
How it started
Born from a Saturday afternoon
It started with a frustrating shopping trip. Anne and Mae had spent an entire Saturday searching for outfits for a family event — and left empty-handed. Everything was either too trendy, too expensive, or simply not them.
That evening over wine, Mae said it first: “We should just do this ourselves.” Within three months, Anne & Mae Toronto was live.
How we curate
Only what we’d wear ourselves
Every single piece in our collection passes one simple test: would we actually wear it? Not just for a photo, but on a real Tuesday. Running errands, meeting friends, heading to work. If the answer is yes, it earns a place in the shop.
We travel seasonally to source new pieces — visiting ateliers and independent makers who share our obsession with fabric quality and timeless cuts.

Rooted in the city we love
Toronto shaped who we are. It’s a city that celebrates style without taking itself too seriously — where you’ll see a woman in a tailored blazer grabbing a coffee next to someone in a vintage sundress. That mix is what we love.
Anne & Mae is for women everywhere, but it will always carry a little bit of Toronto in its DNA.
